We produce Dolcetto year after year as a bold red with delicious, but subtle tannins.
The grapes were hand harvest in late September, stemmed and then left as whole berries. Leaving the grapes mostly as whole berries, leaves the wine more fruit driven and vibrant in its youth. The juice was then fermented and aged in stainless steel for 8 months.
This medium body dry red wine has aromas of licorice, fresh herbs and raspberry tea. On the palate, the wine has flavors of mulberry and juicy plum with a raspberry, chocolate finish.
Pairs with BBQ, grilled chicken, pork and pizza.
