Our Primitivo with its natural acidity and silky tannins, is ideal for enjoying by itself or with a great meal as well. Pair with poultry, lasagna, grilled meats and tomato based dishes.
This wine differs from the 2011 Primitivo dramatically. The 2012 Primitivo was macerated on the skins longer and spent less time in oak. The wine is more fruit driven with natural tannins and less oak.
Tasting Notes: This medium body red wine has the color of dark amethysts gems. On the nose, the wine has aromas of fresh garden herbs, cedar, blackberry and mulberry. With dark fruit flavors such as juicy blackberry and fresh fig, this wine has a finish of coco and more raspberry. Age worth 8-10 years.
