2010 Barbera Columbia Valley
The color of the wine is a beautiful dark garnet. This wine has an Old World feel overall. The nose has a bouquet of cola, pine, tar, vanilla and toasted nut. The wine opens with dark chocolate, coco, and cherry. The wine is supported with gentle acidity and tannins that give the wine a lingering finish of rhubarb cherry pie. Enjoy with rustic dishes such as grilled pork, pot roast, root vegetables and tomato based pastas.
