With a near perfect growing season, 2013 was an excellent vintage for Washington State. Our Primitivo is expressive and shows typicity for the varietal.
Our grapes come from the Stonetree Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope. Primitivo is a rare grape for Washington vineyards. Only 10-15 acres have been planted in the entire state.
We blended a small amount of Barbera to give some acidity to the wine for aging and finish.
