Welcome to Wind Rose Cellars!

Wind Rose Cellars is a joint project of husband and wife team David Volmut and Jennifer States. We began making wine professionally with the 2009 Harvest.

David has direct work experience in four crushes, and understands that there is more that goes into making a premium bottle of wine than just dreams, romance and the perfect vineyard alone. Hard work, sales, marketing, satisfied customers, a premium product, and…hard work.

Food has always been a passion for David and he sees wine as the penultimate form. Over the past few years, David and Jennifer have made a few trips to Italy–particularly Piedmont and Sicily–to try the wines, taste the food and experience  the rustic Old Country.

As a husband and wife team, we work on crafting our blended Italian style wines towards balance and perfection. We hope you enjoy!
